Blessings will come through you

Leaving home means that you will be troubled. Where in the world is there a place like home? But God told Abraham to leave his home and go to the land that God would show Abraham. And when he did this, He would make him a source of blessing, and he would be blessed of all nations. “The LORD had said to Abram, “Leave your country, your people and your father’s household and go to the land I will show you. “I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” (Genesis 12:1-3)

If somebody is happy because of me, and what he does is good, is my life meaningful? How much would we appreciate it, if we could give everyone, not only to our own family but also all those who know us and love us this benefit. “At that time Abimelech and Phicol the commander of his forces said to Abraham, “God is with you in everything you do. Now swear to me here before God that you will not deal falsely with me or my children or my descendants. Show to me and the country where you are living as an alien the same kindness I have shown to you.” (Genesis 21:22-23) “Abraham was now old and well advanced in years, and the LORD had blessed him in every way. (Genesis 24:1)

It is not just to his own generation that his life became a channel of blessing. In the life of his son Isaac, God's blessing also flows. The blessing of God even flows in the life of his grandchild, Joseph. Potiphar, the chief captain of Pharaoh king of Egypt, found that Joseph's life was not ordinary. “When his master saw that the LORD was with him and that the LORD gave him success in everything he did,” (Genesis 39:3)

So should your and my life be a channel for this blessing?
▷ What will it take for God to give this kind of blessing to someone?
God's concern was all people, the entire nation. He wanted all the people living in the world to be blessed. God did not love the Hebrew nation exclusively. God did not choose Abraham because he favored Abraham, but He chose him and his descendants as a tool to save all nations. The greatest problem of mankind today is the reality that human beings have sinned and fallen and die. By loving us despite being sinners, God himself came to the center of history and carried our sins and died for us. The one who created the universe and man died for us ... God is still a path of blessing to those who are committed to spreading this marvelous love, and devoting themselves to everyone receiving Jesus and eternal life. To those who decide to go to the ends of the earth and preach this gospel, God gives the Holy Spirit, and love and blessings flow through him. You are already on a path of blessing through piggy banks, making kimchi and bread, and joining us in prayer and support.

- Bless you to live a missionary life.
